I do not have experience with Omni Forex. I suggest you to try out few different forex brokers. All are offering free demo account now, you can try out their trading system before deciding.

Two important factors in choosing a broker are regulation and size.

Regulation is important to ensure there is oversight of both the business practices and finances of the broker you are trading with. In many countries, there is very little to no regulation. The countries generally perceived as having the most stringent forex regulations are the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, United States, and Australia. Remember, you’re sending money to these companies, so you want to make sure you can make formal complaints due to poor business practices or have an outlet for fair dispute resolution.

Second, the size of the firm is important since this is an over the counter market. Your access to liquidity and pricing is dependent on your brokers relationship with the banks providing the prices and liquidity.

Forex Magnates recently released a list of large well funded US regulated brokers which you can find here

I do not have any experience with Omni but a good broker to use is IBFX. They are honest and offer great support. Masterforex is another good international broker. The source below has more details about them and other free Forex educational materials as well as a lot of free Forex related things.

If you are a beginner, i suggest you to use Marketiva, which is a very good platform to start trading with and very easy to use.

Marketiva gives you 5$ real to start trading so you don’t have to deposit and if you made profit from it you can cash out, this is why it’s very good for beginners. Their platform is very easy to use and they have support during trading hours.

No matter what you do, stay far away from dealing desk brokers. They are part of the reason you cannot succeed in forex. Most are not reguated and they trade against you.
Try to trade with an ECN broker. Tere are not too many ECN broker outhere and the amount to start a trading account can be high. But they are the way to go.
My favorite is dukascopy more information about them can be found on their website.

    Hi there,

One of the key things a forex trader has to do is make sure their broker is solvent and solid, otherwise, no smart forex trading will make a difference. Two main features on which a forex broker should be judged are:

    1. Reliability
    2. Leverage

Most online forex brokers have practice or play money accounts that you can use to try them out. I suggest this, not just for practicing your forex trading, but also to get a good feel for the broker. Getting that right is nearly as important as your trades themselves.

    Regards
