Dollar rises on U.S employment data
As soon as U.S job data hit the market dollar rallied ahead of its competitive currencies.Following are the latest stats from currency market
The dollar index (DXY 80.93, +0.14, +0.17%) , which tracks the U.S. unit against a basket of six currencies, rose to 80.901, from 80.802 in late North American trading Thursday.
The euro (EURUSD 1.2990, -0.0010, -0.0769%) slipped to $1.2995 from $1.3016 in late North American trading on Thursday.
