Amazon Q1,2011 results profit dips,revenue increased

Amazon had reported their first quarter results for this year.According to them net income has been reduced to 33 percent as company looks to expand its operations by creating more warehouses and technology.

Many investors believe that even though this expansion may be costly but will make the company more competitive.

Amazon’s CFO Thomas Szkutak commented – “We’re just seeing tremendous growth, and because of that we’re having to invest in a lot of capacity,”
