Equities : 2011 heartbreaking year for traders and investors
I am not a specialist trader ,nor i have time to look after it.But i purposely choose to do it myself.Just picked up some books and thought to give it a try.Thanks to the global condition i have lost about 45% of my investment in it but again i was a bit futuristic in approach and invested around 50 % of my money in fixed deposits so it gives me a close to BEP.
After the recession of 2008 i was thinking that the bad time is over and soon equities will again become the heart and soul of investors but 2011 was really a shocker for me.Though we all knew that something is coming but just being too optimistic, in a hope that things will get better in upcoming days i invested more in it and now the money is stuck(leave dividends ). Any way i am looking for better in equities might be booking losses is not a way to go.But when people ask me questions related to equities such as how much did you loose in equities this year and in past 5 years what was your average return from stock market – make me crazy.

Seems like a true story to me.
This story matches to mine.For stocks I had used a different set of criteria.In China also there is a lack of demand for products.If China becomes flat then it would really puncture the global expansion that is already faltering
In Bangladesh 2 people had committed suicide, after loosing their money in the crash.
