I have 3 credit cards past 4 years and have good credit score and i consider cc as a good thing to build up credit and improve your credit score but i have heard many people saying that they are just money wasters.I think it is for those people who are prone to uncontrollable or excessive spending.

I think the better way is to pay off your short-term debts specially like cc completely as soon as possible and on time. Plus you should save some amount every month to keep things going.

I would agree on with you but as many people say that you should avoid debt and cc are jsut another form of debt.Our banking culture have ingrained this Credit card thing in our minds.Then also make sure that you pay back them on time otherwise your credit score will turn bad.Now think again how these banks turn so big in such a small phase of time.It is all from us.we pay for it in form of high interest rates and late fee
