Found this video on youtube showing how to calculate MWROR in excel.Actually the mwror for a period is internal rate of return over that period.i don't know whether embedding will work here or not.Time weighted rate of return is calculated assuming that there is no vash flows but considering active asset allocation through the investment period while MWR of portfolio also reflects the timing effect of the cash flow decisions along with the active asset allocation.
